# Shore Pilates Studios

> Shore Pilates Studios is a boutique classical reformer and tower Pilates studio with two locations in Bournemouth (Westbourne and Kings Park), offering multi-level classes for everybody and every level, from complete beginners to advanced, plus dedicated Pilates Prime classes for over-65s. Every newcomer gets a free first Essentials class, and all classes and memberships are booked on our website or through the Shore Pilates Studios app.

Shore Pilates Studios is run by founders Georgina Sayer and Lauren Arredia, who between them have a combined 50 years of teaching experience across the UK, USA and Australia. The studio teaches classical Pilates rooted in Joseph Pilates' fundamentals, blended with modern, creative choreography to keep classes fresh and challenging. Shore is inclusive of all ages, abilities and genders, and is known locally for a warm, welcoming and supportive community. The studio has earned over 50 five-star Google reviews.

Shore Pilates Studios does not sell physical products. All bookings, class packs, memberships and payments are handled on our website or in the Shore Pilates Studios app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. New clients are encouraged to start with a free Essentials class to try the studio.

## Class types

- **Reformer Pilates** - dynamic, full-body classes on the reformer, suitable from beginner to advanced.
- **Tower Pilates** - strength, mobility and control work on the Pilates tower, following the same level pathway as reformer.

Both class types follow the same progression pathway, so clients can move through the levels at their own pace as strength, technique and confidence develop.

## Class levels

- **Essentials (Level 1)** - the recommended starting point for anyone new to Pilates. Focuses on the fundamentals: language, principles, alignment, breathing and control, and safe, confident use of the equipment. Experienced clients also return to Essentials to refine technique.
- **Essentials Plus (Level 2)** - the natural next step, introducing more contemporary choreography and a slightly faster pace while building strength, coordination, balance and confidence through more complex sequences.
- **Progression (Level 3)** - for clients with a strong foundation, with more dynamic and physically challenging sequences, greater coordination demands and a focus on strength, stability, balance and endurance.
- **Mastery (Level 4)** - the most advanced offering, with challenging choreography, complex movement patterns and seamless transitions for experienced clients confident with equipment set-up, spring changes and advanced principles.
- **Pilates Prime (65+)** - tailored to more mature clients, focusing on joint mobility, reducing stiffness, core strength, balance, stability, posture and everyday movement.

Classes can be cancelled in the app up to 24 hours before the session to receive a class credit.
